– Arrival & Introduction
Please drive through both gates to parking lot in back. (parking facing the wooden fence) wait in your car.
A team member will close the gate behind you and let you know when you can let your dog out of the car.
We begin all evals in the parking lot, we will give your dog time to check things out before proceeding through the intake..
As we introduce your dog to others and move into the barn; we ask that you ignore the dogs until we get through the meet and greet process.
You’ll receive a short facility tour and have a chance to ask any questions
Next we will talk about your dog’s readiness to either stay for the day or if it’s best for them to come back another day.
We’ll kindly ask you to exit calmly (no big goodbyes!) to help your dog settle in
– Trial Daycare ( for those that stay after the eval and those that come back another day)
We will begin by introducing your dog to other dogs and going on a walk around the property.
We find that movement reduces a lot of newness anxiety, so the first hour or so we will be walking.
We typically go inside the barn about 10am, for a warm up and calm down.
At this time we will access your dog’s readiness to go in a kennel. Some dogs can manage this their first day while others need a bit more time.
Quiet time and Nap time happen each day from 11:00-12:30. If your dog doesn’t go in a kennel they will have quiet time in the barn with other dogs and staff.
If your dog is doing well they will stay for the day and pickup is scheduled between 4:00 & 4:30 (first day only)
If your dog is overly stressed, showing signs of fear or aggression, you will get a call around 10:30 for a 1/2 day pickup.
4:00-4:30 PM – Pick-Up & Debrief
At pickup we will go over the events of the day, you will also receive a written report card by email.
Most dogs will need a few days of daycare prior to their first overnight. We will talk with you about this at go home.
What’s Next: Trial Daycare - for those that don’t stay after their evaluation
After a successful evaluation, we’ll schedule your pup’s first full daycare day:
Drop-off: 7:00–8:00 AM
Pick-up: 4:00–4:30 PM.
We can adjust the drop-off and pickup times to meet your needs.
We find dogs do best on their first day if they are one of the first to go home.
Why This Process Matters
Every dog is different. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, safe, and positive introduction to our off-leash play environment. The gradual approach allows your pup to build confidence while we get a full picture of their needs, social style, and personality.
If your dog needs a little more time to adjust — that’s perfectly okay! We’ll tailor the experience to move at their pace.
All-Inclusive, Always
No hidden fees here. Playtime, enrichment, medications, snuggles, elderly care, and one-on-one attention are all included in your dog’s stay — because we believe great care should come standard.
If you have any questions or scheduling needs, don’t hesitate to call or message us directly through ProPet. We can’t wait to welcome you and your pup to camp!
